Cassandra & her Students
Cassandra has been working as a teacher for the past 10 years as well as continuing to work as a singer. Which means that you will always learn from first hand experience and not only from stuffy old books :) She has worked with students of all ages, backgrounds, styles and abilities. Cass has completed a MSc as well as a PGCE and is CRB checked.
Cassandra is very calm, flexible, and designs each lesson to her students individual needs and goals. The lessons are kept simple, relaxed and fun. You do not need to read music or take a test. Musical Styles include Theatre, Rock, Pop, Jazz, R'n'B, Power Rock, Indie & Pop
Topics covered:
- Tone Production (produce smooth, even, fully resonant, pleasant tone)
- Blend (when you follow someone else's lead and blend your voice with theirs)
- Diction (pronunciation, articulation, shape of your mouth, clear lyrics)
- Rock & R'n'B Melisma (singing of a single syllable of text while moving between several different notes in succession)
- Expressive Singing (work on your vocal range, phrasing, interpretation, harmony, vocal health)
- Other topics include: coping with stage fright, correct posture, breathing, songwriting, developing a personal style, continuous support , microphone technique, vibrato, stage technique, studio method, music industry guidance, audition techniques, pitch correction
You will be supported by a hard working, honest teacher who will help you achieve what you would really like to achieve. Lessons can take place at the students home, via Skype or if there are group lessons at a studio in central London.

Cassandra loves working with young Adults & Children aged 1 to 12.
She runs musical workshops for young children and their carers as well as music workshops for older children and Adults.
